3G means 3rd generation and can be any speed up to 2 MBPS. Even a "lite" plan at 768 KBPS would be much fstear than your dial-up connection (which is up to 56 KBPS). Cable and DSL will have some plans comparible to 3G speeds, but they are generally much fstear. Most of the people in the area I live who have cable or DSL are getting speeds of 5 MBPS to 10 MBPS. Of course more speed is more expensive, so I am also seeing people cut back to the "lite" plans.

The nearer the tpnoehele exchange you are speeds up the connection so it depends on that. You need a phone line for BB, I think the service from is pretty good Ive hand BB for 5 years now and never had any problems and only once when it didnt work they replaced the modem box free of charge.VA:F [1.9.12_1141](from 0 votes)
